Submit Your Film
To be considered by The Movie Agency, please submit your feature film for evaluation.
Due to the high volume of submissions we receive, time zone differences, and our small team, all communications are handled via email only. While we appreciate that some filmmakers prefer to discuss their projects by phone, we are not scheduling calls at this time.
If we believe your project is a good fit for our services, we will contact you within 10 business days. If you have not received a response within this timeframe, it means we are unable to assist with your project.
What We Accept
We consider feature films (70 minutes or longer) in all genres, including documentaries.
While every submission is reviewed individually, we are particularly selective when evaluating:

Documentaries
-
Black-and-white films
-
Arthouse and experimental films
-
Very low-budget productions
-
Non-English language feature films, particularly dramas and comedies
Non-English language films are welcome, provided they include English subtitles.
Submission Requirements
If your feature film is completed, you must include a private online screener.
Trailers alone are not sufficient for evaluation.
We only accept private screeners hosted on:

YouTube
-
Vimeo
-
FilmFreeway
Screeners hosted on Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or other file-sharing services will not be reviewed.
Projects in Development
We also accept submissions for projects that are in development, pre-production, or principal photography. Please refer to our Services for Film in Development page for further information.
The Movie Agency does not review or respond to:

Short films.
-
Content with a running time of less than 70 minutes.

Films that have already been distributed in North America by a distributor or have been self-released on streaming platforms.
Response Policy
Due to the large number of submissions we receive, we are only able to contact filmmakers whose projects match our current acquisition criteria.
If you have not heard from us within 10 business days of your submission, please consider that we have decided not to move forward.
